Yorkfaï uses the principles of mechanical structures to fabricate wood products and has created an innovative connection, assembly and installation system represented by cantilever technology, which is independently developed by Yorkfaï and incorporates proprietary technologies and national patents of Yorkfaï. Its most prominent feature is the ability to form cantilever structures without any supports, while the shelves or cabinets boast extremely high load-bearing capacity. Its mechanical performance is comparable to that of mechanical structures. Supported by this technology, components such as shelves can be made extremely thin. This removes more constraints for minimalist design and enables more refined and versatile creations.
